Titanis
The name for Anima by the Dwarves of Thaldor and Vaelora, although its use and the consequences therein differ between the two. It is believed by both that Titanis was left over during the construction of Illumina by the ancient Titans, from whom Dwarves evolved.
Bloodbane Dwarves believe that it is a resource to be treasured as all in existence has already been used up, or essentially run out. The only traces of it left, to their belief, is in their crude, but enchanted, axes, which are enchanted with Titanis. They are granted strength by felling their enemies with these weapons, as the blood from those enemies enhances the power of the weapons and their wielder. As a result, these weapons are the most prized possession of any Bloodbane Dwarf, and recovery of these is prioritized even over their brethren in battle.
Hillstone Dwarves believe that it is naturally-occurring and is released into the air during mining operations. These Dwarves live in the mountainous regions of Vaelora and focus their lives on mining to constantly have a supply of this resource. To them, the strongest versions of it are harvested through unique and rare stones. They believe that this power should be shared by all.
