Zorathism
Believe in Nyxoth. Followers are called Zorathians. Driven primarily by fear of the Old God Zorath, followers in this ancient (and, in fact, the oldest in the world) religion practice through prayer to Zorath and believe that certain among them are chosen to be granted gifts of Zorath. Believe in regular sacrifices to Zorath for appeasement (generally those who are injured or considered 'infirm'). They also believe that overuse or misuse leads to madness and can wilt or even destroy the world around them if used faster than the energies can recoup. They view The Dawnkeepers as "overblown" and "playing with trinkets and baubles", and see Shenism as blasphemous. Tied to the concept of Zorath Scar and its connection to decay, Zorathian worship emphasizes the cyclical nature of life and death, with Nyxoth as the eternal force that governs both. It blends reverence for the primal aspects of life with necessary sacrifice to maintain harmony.
